Holmes at Beechwood 1/20/06 Predictions!!

Featured Replies

Game is at Beechwood, I believe that Beechwood can keep it close. If they can keep it close till the end anything can happen.

Holmes by a bunch (15-20), maybe more. I will be very interested to see: a) how Romes is defended by Holmes; b) how he responds to all of that quickness and athleticism around him. The Beechies need Michael to be beyond spectacular to keep this one interesting into the 4th.

I think that Holmes is just way too athletic and they have so many offensive weapons as well. I love the job that Mike Herald is doing and I think Michael Romes is a great H.S. player but Holmes will prevail in this one, I say 70-56.

Will Holmes be fully loaded? If so, Holmes by 20-25.

Holmes should be full strength or close to full strength. Holmes should win this one pretty easily. Beechwood is a decent team, but I don't think they are at Holmes level though.

Holmes won't guard him any different. I bet any Jefferson or Henderson guards him. They will play their same defense, Holmes does not change game plan for one player. So Romes will have his chance to shine.

I just don't think Beechwood style of play will fair well against Holmes, Holmes names the score.

If everyone plays for Holmes, then the Bulldogs by 23 points.

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. I didn't mean "how would Holmes guard him" implying they would utilize a gimmick defense. I meant "how would Holmes guard him" meaning who would they put on him. I would be surprised if Jefferson is on Romes, but you know Holmes better than I do. I would think DJ would be on Sawyer. I could see Henderson guarding him, or maybe Hill or Rice. Maricle will be important in that game, IMHO, because he provides functional size.

Sawyer could be in for a long night if DJ is on him.

I'd expect Henderson to match up with Moore. I'd guess you'll see Hill/Rice on Romes.

Whoever DJ guards is in for a long night on Beechwood, including Romes.

I will take Holmes by ten!

Beechwood is no deadbeat team you no. I don't think they will up them by twenty.

Beechwood isn't a deadbeat, but if Holmes is full strength they could win by 20 easily.
