Best Freshman and Sophmores in NKY

I hope that this is not a repeat thread, but I was wondering who everyone thought were the better Freshman and Sophmores in NKY.

 

A couple come to mind for me:

 

Henderson at Holmes and McFarland at Boone.

Simpson at Highlands and Kendall for Dixie.

Maile for CovCath.....Freshman that starts JV......

You have to have Middleton,freshman, and miller sophmore from Mason on that list. Both are extremly talented players.

from CovCath the top is Maile the freshmen who plays JV, and sophmores Bondick, Schmerge, and Grimes.

The best sophomore has to be Simpson from Highlands!

Without seeing a lot of basketball yet, I would say the kid from Holmes Henderson at 5'11 seems to be holding his own. Simpson I have seen play and he has put on some weight this year and seems to be cool under pressure. Hits his free throws, makes clutch baskets and will be there go to guy next year. I would say Simpson from HHS.

I would definitly put Jon Verst up there as one of the best sophmores in Northen Kentucky.

I saw Verst play for the first time this week while we were scouting Mason and Campbell good shooter but not very athletic,not in the same area code as the top sophs.

Shmerge is a real nice player for CCH. Are we only looking at freshman who see JV and Varsity Time?
