  1. Stock up It is still the greatest show in HOOPS! Stock down KHSAA for it's unwaivering committment to bend the rules for their own good. Nothing really changes. Needs to be some changes in the ranks at the big house. Officiating! Was not up to par with the level of the games. I didn't have a team there but it was consistently bad. Need to look at the way officials are sent to the tourney. There were some good officials there but the bad ones ruined their parade.
  2. If it were not for Setty in the Elliott game Mason would not have been playing Saturday. I really thought he should have been on the team.
  3. I think he is going to play D-1 basketball somewhere. Don't know where but I think it is D-1 somewhere.
  4. You are right. Basketball transfer- ineligible to participate. However, I am sure that will not be the ruling.
  5. Kids are tougher than we give them credit for. I would be more concerned that they would be overpumped than drained. Should be a great atmosphere tonight.
  6. Henderson is a good basketball player. Headsy and stable. I like they way he kind of takes over the team on the floor and everyone feeds off him. Would have liked to have seen him play a couple more times. He will be an asset to some college program and sounds like he is a good student as well. Best of luck.
  7. Great game and total domination by the Royals. If they play that way this morning it will be a great final. I think they should coast by Shelby.
  8. Hazard loses one senior who is not a starter! We will see them again if something doesn't change in the next couple of months.
  9. This may be the worst officiated state tourney I have ever seen. There have been 2 or 3 games that were bad for both sides. What's happening?
  10. That very statement is subject to KHSAA's own interpretation and how it may affect them as an organization! HYPOCRISY!
  11. The Whitaker kid was hounded and hacked all over the floor. I am not a Hazard fan but it was bad. The entire tourney officating has been horrible. Maybe the worst called state tourney for several years. That isn't any sour grapes it is just fact. one official out of every crew this year has been terrible. Great year for Hazard and Shelby. I think Elliott woke a sleeping giant!
  12. There are already programs that are revolving doors for athletics! Try Catholic, LCA, Rose Hill, Scott County, UHA, just to name a few. I am sure there are more but these seem to get the most press and the least scrutiny from the KHSAA (ss) as I like to call them. Hypocrisy abounds!!!!!! Take the kids but don't touch our money!
  13. Legit move? Let's not be hypocritical. We know why it is a move, to protect his son's future and I have no problem with that as I would propably do the same. However, to attempt to justify immediate eligibility is a farce and slap in the face to the 20 or 30 kids that did not get their eligibility when they moved. His profile gives him different looks from the powers that be and that is why the KHSAA will never be about the very intent of their being, WHAT IS BEST FOR THE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT. SHAME SHAME SHAME on the KHSAA.
  14. Officiating was not state tourney caliber on either end of the floor!!!
  15. I agree 100%. Mason should be home right now. Didn't play with heart or hustle!
  16. He's the best to hit the floor at Rupp so far this year. Miller and Hopson can both play but he was impressive and at the right school he will help out quickly.
  17. Had something to do with a skit the Hazard cheerleaders were going to do at halftime from whatI was told by a Hazard teacher. Escalated when PCC fans came to meet them at half court???? Could have been fun but wasn't as bad as it seems.
  18. Tolerate might be a better word than welcome but I understand where you are coming from.
  19. They were also a much bigger school. Enrollment has declined over the years.
