I am wondering why no one is talking about the Paintsville-Prestonsburg game that has got to be one of the top games in the state this Friday. I say Paintsville wins but very close. Paintsville 20 Prestonsburg 13

This game will be close for 3 quarters but I think Lafayette will pull away in the end. Lafayette 31 Boyle Co. 20

How can Johnson Central not be in the top 10 in 3A, when Central is rated 5th in 3A by the Herald-Leader.

We played Woodford very close and this week Woodford will run all over West. Woodford 45 West 6

Bryan Station is very talented but JC has the experience and should win. JC 35 Bryan Station 10

East is not going to be an easy game by any stretch. If Woodford doesn't come to play then East will beat them.

I played football for Paintsville in my 4th and 6th grade year and he was a great coach that helped out a lot. He is a top 5 coach in the history of Kentucky high school football.

Boyle is not down they are still probably going to win their region and make it to the state semifinals. They are still a top 10 team in 3A.

Paintsville vs Prestonsburg

Close game but East grinds it out and wins 23-16.

My sophomore year we went into Bell Co.'s back yard and beat them 13-7.

Don't you be calling East Jessamine mediocre they can contend this year with Franklin and Lexington Catholic. Congrats to Henry Clay on a good win I think you will win region and may make it to the carpet.

This is a great win for East I am happy we won because Pikeville was our rivals where I grew up so it's really sweet to win. Now East go out there and take care of Woodford next week.

What was the final score?

Honestly I think that Paintsville will beat Prestonsburg and maybe Pikeville.

I grew up in Eastern Kentucky and our main rivals were Pikeville now the high school I graduated from is playing Pikeville. I am so looking forward to this game. I would like to get some thoughts on it. Oh and East if you get the chance run it up.

I was at the game to and for the most part I was impressed with the Dunbar defense. Except for that punt return for MBA in the first quarter it was a dead lock until late in the game. I would say though that there were a couple of opportunities for Dunbar to tie or take the lead.

Do you think with this win that it makes Raceland the favorite in their district?

That has to be one of the best wins for Fairview in a long time. I went to Paintsville and I am upset but I know Paintsville will bounce back and contend with Pikeville. Congrats Fairview and good luck the rest of the season.

I'm not sure you can call Southwestern beating Danville an upset.
