Long Time Warrior Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Class AAA Rankings 9-5 1. Highlands 2. Bowling Green 3. Covington Catholic 4. Rockcastle County 5. Central 6. Lexington Catholic 7. Bell County 8. Franklin County 9. Hopkinsville 10. Southwestern Best 3A poll I've seen. You BGP's really know football.
Log Mountain Boy Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 After seeing the way Bell Co. played Henry Clay, a top 5 4A team, I think Bell is going to be very good down the stretch! Bell had a couple bad breaks and made a couple mistakes that cost them the game. I honestly felt like we outplayed Henry Clay for the most part. We just made more unforced mistakes. But Bell being very young, we are going to get better and better, Id bump Bell up to the 5th spot in the poll.
westsider Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 It's strange not seeing Boyle County in the top 10 ...
super Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 It's strange not seeing Boyle County in the top 10 ... They'll be back.
colonel-fan Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I wonder how close Johnson Central and Bullit East are to cracking the top 10?
GoldenEagleFan Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I wonder how close Johnson Central and Bullit East are to cracking the top 10? I want JC to be the top of the poll on December 3rd. Other than that I could care less if we are even in a poll or not!
InTheLoop Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I assumed the #5 spot was Johnson Central. If not, which Central is it?

CharlieWeis Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I wonder how close Johnson Central and Bullit East are to cracking the top 10? Bullitt East and Central have a key district matchup this Friday night in Mt. Washington. This game will be a large factor in how this district shakes out and the next AAA top 10. Central seems to be the early favorite with their huge win over Shelby Co. They did lose a key player last week in Hughley, with a broken arm. Best of luck to to both teams.
oneijoe Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I wonder how close Johnson Central and Bullit East are to cracking the top 10? BOTH are definately on the radar...
xyience Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I want JC to be the top of the poll on December 3rd. Other than that I could care less if we are even in a poll or not! :thumb: They have a very legitimate shot at doing that!
stick1 Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 The beauty of 3A is that you can take Johnson Central, PSW, Bell Co, Lex Cath, Franklin Co + maybe Hoptown and slot them about anywhere in after Highlands/Cov Cath/BG and make a serious argument right now!
EJHS Fan #98 Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 How can Johnson Central not be in the top 10 in 3A, when Central is rated 5th in 3A by the Herald-Leader.
