Call me crazy but don't there have to be an even amount of teams in each class. You have to have a bunch of teams in 6A to make every class competitive.

East can't help but improve from a 3-7 record they were very young last year and they will improve this year. As for the playoffs you heard it hear they will definitely make it.

I went to East Jessamine but I root for the team where I grew up the Paintsville Tigers.

I wouldn't be so sure Paintsville might have to play Pike Central in the second round. As I recall the regional tournament is held at Pike Central.

Looks like my boys at East got a very good draw.

I just saw this score on KHSAA and I want everyone's thoughts on this game. It must have been a big upset because Paintsville was dominated in the regular season by the Cards.

East pulls a very big time upset on the number 18 team in the state and will play Mercer Co. for the District Championship. Thoughts on East's upset.

I wouldn't forget about East because they beat Mercer earlier in the year 11-10.

No way should we go to classes for basketball do you remember a couple years ago they had a documentary on ESPN about how we only crown one state champion. We are the only state in the union that does that and that's what makes Kentucky High School Basketball so special with the thought that anyone can beat anyone on any given night. Take a look at Apollo they were rated 12th out of 16 teams and they came very close to winning the state championship.

I will be rooting for Hazard but Mad. Central is way too much for them. Mad. Central 64 Hazard 43

I am very unbiased for this region but I say it's a tossup so I have to go with the Mason by 2.

Mad. Central will keep it close for a while but Scott Co. will be too much for them in the fourth quarter. Scott Co. 73 Mad. Central 62

I think JC wins a very close game let's get one Paintsville school to Rupp even though it's the one I didn't want.

Congrats Southwestern on a hard fought win. East you have nothing to be ashamed of you all had a very good year, sure we all wanted a regional championship but don't hang your heads. Southwestern good luck and beat them Rebels.

The title is up for grabs that 10 to 12 teams can win it and maybe a team we aren't talking about could win it cause there's always a cinderella that makes a run from out of nowhere.

Slink I don't think it will be as easy for Southwestern against East as it was against Lincoln. At this point of the tournament no team in this region can get blown out besides we beat the crap out of Lincoln as well. It probably will be a fun game but SW you better not overlook us.

Long Time Warrior are you saying that Southwestern lives and dies by the three because if they do East usually plays good defense and Southwestern could be in trouble.

This should be a great game I would say that Southwestern should be the favorites. Thoughts and predictions on this game.
