East Jessamine vs Southwestern

This should be a great game I would say that Southwestern should be the favorites. Thoughts and predictions on this game.

Saw both teams last night. Both teams looked good second halfs shaking off the first game first half jetters. It will be Southwestern from three point line verses East Jessamine inside game. If EJ can get a lead and can control the clock will be a good one. If EJ has trouble with letting SW get open three's it will be over in a hurry. I look for it to be a good game as long as EJ is not having to come from behind all night. Good luck both teams.

No, SW does not live and die by the three. They live by applying full court pressure defense. If EJ presses them like they did PC, then it will be a long night for the Jaguars. SW has six capable ball handlers whereas PC barely had one. SW is also very patient on offense when they have to be. That is what you get with an experienced ballclub. EJ has to be more selective in their shots. If they jack them up like they did against PC, once again a long night for the Jags.

Slink I don't think it will be as easy for Southwestern against East as it was against Lincoln. At this point of the tournament no team in this region can get blown out besides we beat the crap out of Lincoln as well. It probably will be a fun game but SW you better not overlook us.

SW will not overlook anyone. They have too much experience and leadership from their coaches. They play them one game at a time. It is that if EJ has the same game plan against SW that they had against PC, then it will not work.:thumb:

It should be a fun one Friday night. I feel that SW with their defense will get this win and advance to the 12th Region Championship Game

I feel like the ball movement that EJ will see against SW will create open looks from the three point line. SW will drive to the basket if that is the opition you give them. The score will determine the defense EJ plays to me if you pressure the three point line you give up two pointers on made baskets or rebound put backs. If you play off the three point line and they start making them it's lights out. Good luck to both teams.

I agree LTW. SW takes advantage of the dribble drive if you contest the three point shot. They would just as soon make a layup as to shoot a three. In tonight's games, Boyle will squeak by Rock and W. Jessamine will win a tough one over McCreary Central.

SW has a ton of respect for Downey and Sanders. As last night showed,(WJ-McCreary) you must be ready to play every game. SW will come out and play their game as they have done all year. I expect EJ to play hard and try to go inside to their stud. Region semis, nobody should be overlooking anybody.:fight:

I will have you know my counting abilities is 10 in the winter time, and 20 in the summertime.

Oh a forgot about the lawm mower accident last fall. I can count to 10 in the winter and 18 1/2 in the summer.

Never the less, despite you only having 18 1/2 appendages, there are four teams left and all four can win it.
