The 1st game with Knox was the sorriest game I hve ever seen Rockcastle Co play. I know they have improved with the tough scedule they have played and have worked hard on blocking. It should still be a tough game. Knox plays tough defense. Rock will have to play their A game to win.

Bell Co weak scedule will catch up with them in the playoffs.

There are 5 teams that ended 0-10 that will make the playoffs. How do these teams feel about playing the team that beat them in the regular season by 60 points? I would just as soon not be playing.

A rumor was the QB from Knox Central broke his hand. Is this true?

I heard he will be back for the Rockcastle Co game.

Bell Co opponents are 16-17 not counting Churchill Volunteers, TN. Lincoln, Knox Central and Rockcastle all have winning records. Whitley and Madison Southern have losing records.

First off, I know that. If you re-read my post it states that it should be District 7 playing District 8 in the first 2 rounds instead of this playoff nightmare. It should be District 7 talking about a sweep over District 8 instead of which 2-9 or 1-10 team will be headed to the 2nd round.

2 of these 4 teams are guaranteed a 2nd round appearence. Meaning this district will automatically go 2 deep into the playoffs whereas in years past they would have to earn it by defeating another district.

It would've been a great matchup where Corbin would've avenged their last second loss vs. Bell County if they played this year. Corbin is better than Bell, this year overall.

It is a shame that this district is allowed 2 rounds into the playoffs instead of traveling to the opposing rival district of Bell, Knox, Rock and McCreary. It would once again be talk of a sweep as years past.

Don't take the score against Rock as an indicater because Rock played their worse game of the year.

Congratulations to the Panthers. This is the worse game I have seen Rock play all year. Didn't play as hard as they have the first 4 games. There will be a round two between these two teams if Rock can beat McCreary Central. If that is the case I hope Rock shows up that night ready to play. I believe they will next time.

From what I have been told, Coach Larkey met the team and coaches after the game to shake hands and congratulate them on the win, but had several smart mouth comments made to him and the other coaches by the Bell Co players. I am sure Coach Larkey was a little upset over all of this. Coach Hilton has also been upset after a few losses to Rock a few times and made comments after the game that was not appropriate but maybe not on the camera.

The game is at Knox Central. They have a new field located on 25E. Should be a slobber knocker game between these two teams. Rock has a passing and running game and lots of formations to prepare for. Untelling what they will come up this week against the Panthers.

Lynch dominated everybody in the mountains in the 50's and 60's. Ed Miracle was the coach. He was hard to beat. Pineville was also very good form year to year.

What was the Leslie Knox Central score? I heard that Leslie is down a little this year but I still think they will beat McCreary Central.

Rock will have their hands full. MS has their best team ever. Rock is young but still plays hard to win. Rock has some injuries. This could play a part. It will be a tight game. Turnovers and breaks will be a factor.

How did Danville out in the Harrison and Mercer scrimmages?

Clay will score some points with their passing attack. They are hard to stop. But LC will have the advantage on ball control and the clock. I predict that LC will run the ball well and have control of game. LC has a very good kicking game. That will play a big part in the game that will keep CC backed up. I predict LC will win the game but it will be very close.

Remember everyone that rockcastle lost it all last year. They will be a very young team. 5 seniors on the team. Will probably start 3 on offense and 4 on defense. SW should have the adantage on experience. Who will be the best conditioned team in the heat? Which team will play 100% the entire game? SW has no doubt the best athletes in this game. If it comes down to the wire, I pick the ROCK.

Jabez, it is the one in Wayne County.

Rock is traditionally invited to play in 2-3 bowl games a year, that isn't cheapening the meaning, it is more of an honor to want teams to come into their house and play them. Just as recently as last year has Rock hosted 2 bowl games because of another proud local sponsor throughout the community. Rock has been hosting their own bowl game for 18 years now, that isn't like it just started and they have traditionally played all over the state annually in more than 2 bowl games, it is a far better experience than to not.
