If it's a high scoring game, the scales tip toward South. Central is not a great offensive team.

IMO Knox will be tough to beat at home, Panthers 28 Cards 21. Has anyone heard about one of KC's backs being hurt? If so could change the outcome, maybe the QB not sure.

I have it from a source now that Knox Central Jr. QB Cory Smith suffered a broken thumb in practive earlier this week. I'm told he had surgery to repair it yesterday and will be lost for the remainder of the season. If anyone can confirm or contradict this definitely, please do so. Good luck and a speedy recovery to Cory.

 

If there is any bright spot in this, it happened early enough in the week for the staff to work out another player and alter the game plan. It will be interesting to see who replaces Cory as the top backups were a soph and a frosh.
