  1. Coach Copley knows what he's doing with personell, maybe he shames a player by making him play jv, to bring out the best, in so and so player. What ever he does is for the betterment for the kid and the team.:ohbrother:
  2. Thank you Musketeer alum97, I to went to the Ram sideline to see if the Doc was in, but ended talking to Larry Colegrove, the principal at Raceland. He should be made to wear a Greenup County shirt till Friday and show some love. that I mean in as sideline doc, should wear the shirt:D:D
  3. Great win for our program and the hard work is paying off, this is why you are moving up to chicken next season, that is just rumor.
  4. The tailgating was great and the fans were awesome, and to win like that, well it say's alot about our boys, were the senior flags at the game?:walk:
  5. We seen you at camp and came away the better team, you beat us, but it showed our team, we could compete with Bell, and it has carried us believing even we can compete with the Bobcats, you guys are in a leauge of your own. Hope we see you down the road.
  6. I agree with you Coupon21 also the special teams did not give up any pts. Also he had a great block on 77 Compton, when Carter made his cut off his butt, he was gone. I saw improvement all over the place, and we are getting better each week, now is when we need to start getting physical, lay those ears back, and work even harder, this team is in great shape, Copleys conditioning is really paying off.:dancingpa
  7. sidelinedoc as you know, injuries are part of the game, but I think the loss of your backfield and 2 very good linemen, that the RAMS have alot of holes that need shored up on the offensive side of the ball.:idunno:
  8. Did'nt he have a td. pass, Rister did look a little nervous in the pocket, and clearly Farleys back is injured, making his timing just off.
  9. Raceland 24 East Carter 17 and a physical game, hard hitting.:taz:
  10. Is Corky Prater helping coach this season, way to go Lions.:thumb::thumb:
  11. Thank you old rambler, I see the Rams turning this around, they have played 4 tough games and 3 were on the road, injuries and mistakes, penalties, and this will tear a coachs heart out, the team will really have to get it together this week, do you agree?:notworthy:
  12. I think coach is going to practice team all week, even Friday, we have a bye week, this is the first time Greenup County has been injury free, we usually use this week to heal up, 2 weeks is a long time to wait to watch the team play again, I think coach will incorporate some new wrinkles into the offense, we have 9 days of practice, to work to get better.
  13. Thanks Coupon21, I know you well, and love having you on the staff. Your son ate with the tean Friday evening. Do you think we are playing our best football yet? I don't either, I see us getting better each week, do you agree.:notworthy:
  14. A great night to be a musketeer, also the special teams played great and gave up no pts. Coach Copley got his first signature win, in his first year of coaching the musketeers. Great job boys, keep up the hard work.
  15. Watusi very good post, way to simplify the 3A playoff picture. Can you also do that in class 4A? Would appreciate immensely.
  16. Iwas there at that game and I still think the field goal was good, just my opinion.
  17. Has the coach' been getting on you and hollering at you? Rams78 or 45.
  18. Woodford names the score, Whitley County, too many problems to handle.
  19. Wishful thinking that's why I always root for the other team, especially Belfry, maybe Breathitt County. Maybe Raceland, you all better not take them lightly.
  20. LC 18 penalties for 157 yds., GC 9 penalties for 60 yds. and we never get breaks like that, but some were obvious penalties, especially the 4 unsportsman like conduct penalties on your coaching staff, that was 60 yds.
  21. Since Mercy County has had to move up to 4A they are having some trouble, Rock is Rock, a tough physical football team that takes away what the other team tries to do, plus they can play power football, and throw it around some, Rock 28- MC 10.:ylsuper:
  22. Wat back in 1969 at Fleming County, 1st half dry and 35 to 45 mph winds, 2nd half, torrential down pour that delayed the start, when we did start, when the umpire set the ball down to start play, it floated, worst mud I have ever seen in all my life.
  23. I agree after seeing them play GCHS last Friday, the freshman qb. played very well, #23 ran the ball good, if they can cut down on mistakes and penalties, they should be right in this game. Good luck Dawg's. Come playoff time, I hope you stun the Lion's (again) and if we can beat the Viking's, should be a good rematch in Lloyd, Ky.
  24. Good news mom55 and that works out good. Will this effect his plans on deer hunting, can he still pull the trigger.
  25. Ashland wins this game, they should easily get everyone playing time in this game, if not for 2 plays GCHS frosh would still be unbeaten, good luck little Tomcat's. :flame: The Devil's.
