Not supprised Bell won but the margin I did not see coming.

Whitley came apart at the seams in the second half. Bell is still king of the mountains.

Why is it when Bell wins that we have comments such as "Bell needs to come upstate and play someone"? Just how far upstate should they go? Johnson Central is upstate, seen that result. Boyle County last year was upstate, seen that result. I would like to know how far upstate we need to go year after year to satisfy everyone?

Congrats to the Offensive line of Bell. Marcum, Collett and Howard opened up holes tonight against a very good Whitley line. Very hard hitting game tonight from both teams. I would put Bell's offensive line up against any in the state.

I'm not sure that was a knock on Bell, might be on everyone else in this part of the state. I'm not sure if anyone around SE or Eastern Ky can give Bell Co. much trouble.

Yes Bell is a very good team. I would put Whitley up against northern teams also, Whitley is a very good team, just need to hang onto the ball better. ButIi will say that when Whitley starts running the offense that they are capable of, and they will, teams in their district will be in trouble.

Other teams in this area that I would say will go far in the playoffs, Corbin, Breathitt (they will bounce back) and Whitley will make it deep into the playoffs.

Bell Co. and Coach Hilton do what they do....make good teams look bad. They made WC look pretty bad tonight.

I was definately wrong with my prediction. Congrats to Bell. You would think some of us would learn not to bet against them after all they are the "King of the Mountains"! :notworthy:
