Absolutely right. Way too earlier to be making predictions for the playoffs. Although it's hard not to think about.

I don't think Highlands would give Bell a game. I think Highlands would give Bell Co. a taste similar to what Alcola gave them. Nothing against Bell (They are hands down the best team in Eastern KY) but Highlands is a little out of their league.

 

This is exactly what is always said right before Bell and Highlands do play in the playoffs in the past. And almost everytime the 2 teams play the game is a dogfight thats played usually within a TD.

I thought that the offensive line for Whitley did a good job, especially #72, he owned the guy in front of him all night long, trouble is there was just one #72 for Whitley. Whitley's QB let his team down with the fumbles, I know he did not do it on purpose but the QB is supposed to be the leader. In the two games I have seen Lynn Camp and Bell, it looks like Whitley just needs somebody to take charge. Who is the backup to the starter at QB?

 

Bell did a great job and proved that they are a step above the rest.

Make no mistake HHS is good but lets not get carried away, I think Bell could make it interesting. Look at last year Bell beat Whitley 38-8 and HHS downed them 42 to 16. The Alcoa/Bell score was somewhat misleading.

Bell all ways plays Highlands tough. We will never find out because not in the same class oh well. Sure let the Whitley faithful know that they will have to wait another year to see if they can beat the Bobcats.

I agree completely about Alcoa Bell. Bell playing week zero in Kentucky was allowed only 1 scrimage. Alcoa on the other hand in Tennessee had probably 3.

The talent is there to be one of the best Highlands teams ever, they just have to translate it to the field. Maybe Highlands isn't ready to play a team like Bell Co. I don't really mean that, but what you are saying is typical. The last time Bell and Highlands played it was supposed to be the best Highlands defense ever and several Highlands fans said that Bell wouldn't cross the 50 yard line. Bell gained 250 yards of total offense and Highlands gained 87 yards of total offense. Now Highlands won that game and they had a great team, but they weren't a team that Bell Co. wasn't ready to play. Highlands would have their hands full again this year if the 2 played.
