Breathitt but closer than people think.

Lawrence co. will be facing yet another unbeaten team this week and IMO the #2 best team in 3A . We still have several players out with injuries and now that the grades came out I think we will have some out for that . LC will not let a kid play if they don't make the grades and I think that's a good thing . But even if we had our full team ready to go I think Brethitt Co. is just to much . After the way our kids was done last week I just hope they have enough heart to go out their and have some fun it's a long ride down to Jackson . And I hope the kids realize that the district hasn't been won by anyone yet just that the seeds have been determined the district will be decided after the second round of the play-offs . After LC plays Brethitt then they play Letcher Co Central which only has one loss on the season so it isn't going to get any easier . Then it looks like we will go up the road to Boyd Co. for the first round of the play-offs . Good luck to the Dawgs Friday night and just go out their and line it up and have some fun playing the great game of football.

I agree after seeing them play GCHS last Friday, the freshman qb. played very well, #23 ran the ball good, if they can cut down on mistakes and penalties, they should be right in this game. Good luck Dawg's. Come playoff time, I hope you stun the Lion's (again) and if we can beat the Viking's, should be a good rematch in Lloyd, Ky.

I just hope we don't get much more banged up in the next couple of weeks so we will be ready for the playoffs. Boone should be ready to go again, and Chandler did a fine job against GC. Just play hard and have fun. Breathitt County has a great team, with great tradition and it is an interesting place to play. Hope the fog stays off the field.

Lawrence County has several players banged up and Breathitt is a tough opponent but I guarantee that the LC kids will show up and play with heart and give 110%.

If Breathitt dooesn't take them serious the Bulldogs are very capable of pulling off the upset.

It's the final leg of the Lawrence County vs. EKY 3A challenge.

 

Thusfar the Bulldogs have seemed to progressively improve against the ranked 3A teams, after being crushed by Belfry they lost to Sheldon Clark 20-0, gave a decent effort against Russell, and now they take on the Bobcats.

 

The boys from louisa will be egttign alot of calls come playoff time from coaches who wnats to get game film for the 4A playoffs. LOL

Breathitt just has too much to stop in this game.

I think Belfry is the best in 3A, but Breathitt has more ways to score. If the dawgs want to stay in this they'll have to step up on D.
