  1. CCH/Holmes play Friday night.
  2. Manual v. Male Bellevue v. NCC Bishop Brossart v. Silver Grove Christian County v. Hopkinsville
  3. Halleuia! You think he's interested in the superintendent job?
  4. Do they make changes to the Valhalla course for the Ryder Cup?
  5. I think this could be a win/tie situation for a coach. If he succeeds, he's a football genius. If he doesn't succeed, it can be attributed to the school and not the coach.
  6. Here's how it works. Any two tournaments you play in may be counted as one game each as long as you play in four games or less in each tournament. If you play 5 games in a tournament, it counts as two games. If you play 6 games in a tournament, it counts as 3 games. For tournaments beyond the above two, each game played counts as a game in the 23 game limit. Now, festival and classics, like the All "A" Classic, where you have a regional round and a state round, each round is counted as a separate tournament.
  7. How about the Robertson County Rogues.
  8. Trinity's in first place. Could they make a run at the state title? Naaaa. John Golsby from Holmes moves on to quarterfinals at 152 to face no 1 seed Mitch Ervin from Union County.
  9. That's just the tip of the iceberg, but the most important and time sensitive things that need to be done.
  10. That's what I said. :sssh:
  11. With CCH and LLoyd both signing head coaches, maybe Holmes will get more attention from coaches looking for a new job.
  12. I think the stats for the 13th region just reflect that they have both more wins and losses than any other region, and they're not even the largest region. You'll also notice that the 13th lead in neither avg. points scored or allowed. The 13th has played 433 games. Thats 34 more than the next closest region (Region 5).
  13. I too realize that this is suppossed to be fun, but if some of you, and I'm not naming any names, can't manage to be civil with each other, or at least stop the personal attacks, you may find yourself riding the bench. :irked:
  14. Bellevue Dayton Highands Newport NewCath
  15. Do they seed based on District record? If so, HHS has the only perfect district record.
  16. That's true. They couldn't do any worse a job than the last 3 superintendents. I thought Moreland was going to be a cure. Let's just say I was off by 180 degrees. I think whoever they get it's not going to be an assistant from somewhere else. They're a troubled school with no money to offer a head coach. It's going to be a pro bono job for somebody.
  17. And John Daly may be one of the worst!
  18. Anybody know why Josh Cooper forfeited to John Golsby at 152 in the 6th region?
  19. Yep. 2005 lost in first round to state runner-up Warren Central 55-57.
  20. Boone County 17-8 overall 8-3 region Highlands 5-15 overall 3-6 region BC may have lost 3 of its last 5, but HHS has lost 9 of its last 10.
  21. I think the jury is still out on team chemistry. If that comes together, they are definitely the Regional favorite.
  22. I wouldn't use Highlands to compare CCH and Holmes. HHS really seems to be struggling this year and just doesn't make for good comparisons between opponents. I think the real test comes on Monday when Holmes faces off against Boone.
