I understand this is almost a done deal as both sides move all of their chess pieces into position.

Can anyone confirm or deny it?

Hadnt heard if its final yet, but I think it will be a done deal soon. But for right now it's still in progress.

That would be a great move for Lloyd ... could resurrect their football fortunes.

Looks likely.

How long will it take him to build a big time winner there?

Probably the worst kept secret in NKY football history, haha.

I stand by my comments in the previous Lloyd thread...

That would be a GREAT match! Llyod has been SOOOOOO close to knocking the door down and Yeagles is a legend! Should be fun if it works out!

The question is not whether or not Coach Yeagle will do well but will the athletes come and play for him, that is, the ones in the school already and outside the district. Coach will be the first to tell you that he has had great athletes in the past to work w/which makes it alot easier to win as long as you know what to do w/all of them.

Will be interesting to hear if he goes to Lloyd.

Coach Yeagle to Lloyd would be a positive for the Erlanger/Elsmere and surrounding communities. Yes, he will get the players out and from around the area. He Coach Yeagle will surround himself with a good coaching staff and people who will definitely support the program. I hope it is Coach Yeagle and again what a great boost to the Lloyd Football Program. JD

What happend to Coach Yeagle being happy with his job at Dayton and gearing up for Baseball season? I thought he was trying to lay low from football.

I just wonder why there are sooo many people who are so quick to blast anyone who says anything that could be even remotely construed as negative about Yeagle. I know this man's record speaks for itself, but it's amazing the entourage that surrounds his even mentioning on this site.

Does anyone know if there is a teaching position open for him in the district? Does this make a difference to Yeagle or to Lloyd if the job is his?

There is a teaching spot open. Apparently that's all that's holding it up.

I agree. It is amazing that how they misconstrue any little comment into something negative. I know Yeagle is happy at Dayton and that time away from Beechwood has been good for him. I hope he takes this position and proves once again how good he is. Good Luck to Mike Yeagle.
