  1. Just google Obamaism. You'll get lots of hits. Obamaism isn't so much of a religion as it is a psychosis.
  2. As a matter of fact, the highway system was built under the authority of two items in the constitution. Interstate commerce and national defense. Ike had experienced the nightmare of military logistics in the US and believed that an interstate highway system would cure that.
  3. There's no way he gets convicted of voyeurism. The eavesdropping charge is very doubtful too. They can probably make the disorderly conduct and tampering with evidence charges stick. Somebody should have just beaten the hell out of him.
  4. Not a big fan, although I do have an old Flatt and Scruggs LP that was pretty good.
  5. Oh, you mean like the one I just made to you!
  6. Is that like saying "I'm sorry that you're mad at me.":idunno:
  7. His life should be ruined if the allegations are not true? :eyeonyou:
  8. Because of this thread, I ran out at lunch to Skyline for takeout cheese coneys. It's a half mile from my work, but by the time I got back, they were stone cold. I'm not a happy camper.
  9. That's easy to answer. The liberals are using the stimulous package to push through a lot of their more radical ideas that would have a poor chance of being passed if they weren't attached to this "emergency" bill.
  10. We did some camping at Mammoth Cave when the boys were like mos, 2 and 4. It was a blast. The only down side was having to make a fire in the rain so I could warm up a baby bottle that was in the cooler. Also, don't take long trips in the cave, you'll end up carrying the kids.
  11. BURNA, Ky. (AP) – Police in Mayfield have arrested a middle school teacher after he was seen under some bleachers allegedly photographing beneath cheerleaders' skirts. Fifty-one-year-old Steve L. McCuiston of Murray was charged with voyeurism, eavesdropping, disorderly conduct and evidence tampering. http://www.wcpo.com/content/news/saywhat/story/Ky-Teacher-Caught-Under-Bleachers-With-Camera/fy3J3FIiLEGusrO7n6Epxw.cspx O M G!!!
  12. From the article: Since Democrats want to boost participation by propping up Cobra use, that will result in less capital to invest in new jobs in the middle of a recession. It will also mean adding another disincentive (in addition to unemployment insurance) to get a new job. When you subsidize people not to work, you get more nonworkers.
  13. A company's health insurance premiums are based upon the usage of its employees and COBRA participants. The most likely people to be on COBRA are those who need the coverage because they are being medically treated. This usually means that COBRA participants have a much higher usage than current employees. This drives the price of everyone's premiums up. I'm not sure that I buy into the argument that the company's cost goes up 45%, but I think I could agree that the premiums are that much higher.
  14. Average claims costs for COBRA continuees exceeded costs for active employees by about 45%, according to the 15th nationwide survey of employers’ and plan administrators’ COBRA experience, conducted by Spencer’s Benefits Reports. The 122 companies responding to the 2006 survey administered COBRA for 11,949 former employees and 1,421 dependents who elected the continued coverage. http://hr.cch.com/news/benefits/120506.asp
  15. I think I would have the most difficulty with a Muslim or an Atheist.
  16. I saw that episode of South Park too. The Mormon religion may have been founded by a man, but he never claimed he was God. Other religions could say that Christianity was founded by a man who claimed he WAS God. Now if you want to ask me if Mormonism and the Book of Mormon a work of Smith's imagination, then :thumb:.
