  1. I'd rather be the "mean" parent than the grieving parent.

  4. Maybe the Bengals can cut a deal. Thurman for Henry.
  5. What about the increase in mountain lion attacks? Great White sharks moving closer to shore? Moose have been showing up in towns and stomping on people. A squirrel was in my living room last spring. Am I the only one that sees a pattern here? People, wise up! The other animals are against us. It doesn’t take a genius to see there’s an inter-species conspiracy to thwart the urban expansion of man. How do the squirrels fit in? Surveillance. They spy on what we people are doing in the cities and report back to the bigger species out there on the front lines. Tim Bedore
  6. I agree. For the record, I am very tough on these types of crimes, as my adopted daughter went through a similar experience. :madman:
  7. What about that first August game? Lots of substitutions? Deep teams will obviously have an advantage.
  8. I too am painfully aware of what a child goes through in such a horrific crime. But I don't agree that the man who is guilty of an omission should get the same sentence as the man who commited the horrific crime.
  9. I'd say that he plays worst when shooting off his mouth. Anytime he says he's going to showboat, the opposing team works harder to shut him down.
  10. Honestly, I'd like to think that I would be the hero and stop them. But being a young PFC, probably outranked by everybody at the scene, in a foreign country, at war, I don't know what I would have done. It becomes gang mentality. Are you willing to risk your life to stop the evil intentions of your comrades. Comrades that you sleep with and have weapons. Again, I'm not excusing him. One thing I'd like to know is whether he knew what was going to happen before it happened.
  11. Several of the sodiers who pleaded guilty said that all he did was stand guard. So why does he get 110 years? I know he was obeying an unlawful order and he was involved, but there has been a rush to prosecute soldiers over and over again.

  13. We have 16 rounds? I think I'm going to be in trouble the last 5 rounds. :sssh:
  14. I don't solely blame Bush for problems with our infrastructure, but he has certainly done nothing to help it over the past 6 years. Yet he seems to be investing quite a bit of money into the infrastructure of Iraq.
  15. Amy Klobuchar is not in leadership of the Democratic party. Heck, she's not really even in the Democratic Party. She was just elected in 2006 on the Democrat/Farmers Labor ticket.
