I believe that when Robertson County builds their new school. It will be called Robertson County High School and their contemplating changing the name from Devils. Any suggestions on the new name? Robertson Co. ?

Something unique and different I hope--that would be a good way to go! Congrats on the new building and facilities!!!

We need Devilman to comment on this,as this is inthe very early stages,if anything happens at all. He will tell us what is true and what isn't.

The Cliffs or The Suns. Maybe the Robbies.

They should go with something really original, how about the Magyars, a nomadic people from the 1500's I believe.

 

Of course for people that have gone to the school, work or worked at the school. Tradition should win out.

Just curious how it was called deming to begine with anyone know? Also, will they building a new school for k-12 or simply a high school?

I believe it was named after the guy who donated to building the school????? Some else closer has more info about that I'm sure.

The Falmouth Red Devils consolidated with the Butler Bobcats and the Morgan Raiders to form the Pendleton County Wildcats!!

Whats that have to do with Deming? My mother graduated from Falmouth high.

The land that the school was built on was donated by a man with the last name of Deming.

Why?

 

Knowing and talking to many people who are close to this. If and when a new school is built it will most likely be changed to Robertson County. As for the mascot it is still up in the air.

 

Deming was named so because the land that was used for the school was donated by the Deming family. However, they stated that if the school was not named Deming in their honor they would not give the land for the school. That has not set well with alot of the people in the community for years. Many want it changed to Robertson County to give the county more distinction. But what you have to realize is that this is not a done deal as of yet. If the school is built it will be for K-12.

Red Raiders

Road Warriors

I really like Robertson County Hilltoppers,it makes sense and sounds good, but feel like they will go with Red Raiders or something that starts with an R.
