Anybody know why Josh Cooper forfeited to John Golsby at 152 in the 6th region?

This years state tournament will have alot of new faces on that medal stand.

You’re way to fast for me (but, I’m old – so don’t get too proud).

 

I am pretty happy with Ashland’s results this year. We finished 4th in the Region and had 5 wrestlers qualify for the State Tournament – with another 4 making alternate (5th Place).

 

285 – Dillon (Sr.), 2nd Place

215 – Bayless (Sr.), 4th Place

189 – Holbrook (Sop.), 4th Place

135 – Rigsby (Sop), 4th Place

112 – Patrick (Jr.), 4th Place

 

140 – Petrella (Frsh), 5th Place

125 – Fuller (Sop), 5th Place

119 – Combs (Sop), 5th Place

103 – Cavin (Sop), 5th Place

 

 

Of this group, we only lose 2 to graduation and we have a pretty good group of Middle School wrestlers ready to move up. We should have a stronger team next year as these younger wrestlers develop.
