I think the best about the rankings are all the teams in their respective classes are close to each other, which will make for some darned exciting district/region races this year in NKY.

I'm betting Coach Trosper knew you were there, and wanted to keep Barker's talent under wraps so you can keep up the foolish talk.

If it weren't for the Reds, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'd pay 2x what I do right now for MLB TV for the ability to watch the Reds via streaming.

Last week, my 4 year old's T ball game was cancelled 48 hours ahead of time due to heat. He is due to play tomorrow at noon. No cancellation yet. If they think I'm taking him out in it, they are nuts. The soccer league my 6 year old daughter played spring ball in still has me on their email list. I got an email today, that their games are on for tomorrow. One of the most foolish and ignorant things I've ever read. People are jsut stupid.

Agreed. Bus costs are astronomical for the BC schools. The only sport that can afford that is football. Glad the boy is ok.

I can remember when Conner did this to Highlands in a girls regional final, not sure what the year was. I believe Walz was there as a player, the game was at Ryle. Conner's PG dribbled up the floor one time, just past midcourt, and stops. Holds the ball. Waits about 5 minutes, then dribbles again. The ref had forgotten she had picked her dribble up, and didn't call DD. Edit.....It might not have been a final, I can't remember.

Conner played really well all week. They persevered today, when they weren't shooting well at all. Great job by the Lady Cougars and the staff.

I think the problem is their fans don't cheer hard enough.

NCC had the winning run on 2b with two outs, bottom of 6. Hard hit GB up the middle, I'm not sure the SS would have had a play, but he's breaking to his left, ball hits pitcher's foot, ricochets to where the SS had broke from, rolls slowly into LF, winning run scores.

Conner had a heck of a season, congrats to boys and Coach Arlo. NCC had a some big hits in that sixth.

As much baseball as you watch, I thought you'd be wiser. There is a huge difference between having the tying run on 1st, with the winning run at the plate, than just having the tying run at the plate. Sure, you can say it all you want, but no one puts Hempel on in that situation. And you made my point..........he didn't find a way to beat them, he couldn't in that AB. That's why you pitch to him. To a kid that had 3 HR's all year, it's a no brainer.

So, you'd put the tying run on base? Then the next guy doubles, he scores. And you get to run to BGP and complain about putting the tying run on base.

Didn't that happen last year? Are we still holding that against him (even though he was brought back in the good graces of the administration)? Or is this a new development? Bieger is one heck of a baseball coach.
