I think Christie's biggest problem here is when he had the press conference the other day, he said he was blind sided a couple days before when the "found out about it". Now they've got emails from mid-December from Christie to the NY attorney general asking him to back off the investigation. I also read something about how ambulances were backed up from getting to the hospital and a patient or two died. Chad Johnson is to Marvin Lewis as Brandon Phillips was to Dusty Baker. Both players out of control, running their mouth, and detrimental to the team. I doubt a new manager is going to put up with the mouth, Price was on the inside last year and knows if it hurt the team or not (I'm guessing it did). I think if Phillips stays, it will be real interesting to see how Price plays it out. I know what happened after Chad left.......the Bengals got better. It's amazing how the Bengals have gone from one of the NFL's most talked about (dumb, arrested) teams to one of the better organizations. And it's all about leadership on the team.

I'd say there is a huge difference between Woolf and Niederman. Woolf wasn't out applying for every job that came open, instead he was staying loyal to the program he was in. He applied for one other job, and decided to stay put to be loyal to the program, players, and coaches he was with. It would be foolish for Woolf to not be the front runner for the job. When you have a guy with his class, his pedigree, his coaching talent, and he already teaches in your building?

You'd be getting robbed blind. Trumbo is nothing more than a RH Adam Dunn without the walks. Defensively, he's not quite as bad, but that's a decent comp. Bourjos is less valuable than Heisey. One of the few guys I'd consider dealing Bailey for would be a package centered around Jackson Profar. Bailey should bring a huge return on the trade market. I would do Phillips for Kendrick straight up.
