If Mitchell's declared ineligible, I really don't see how Highlands can play in the state championship game. I understand it's in the rules as posted by Guru, but that doesn't make a whole heck of a lot of sense to me. So.......get a court injunction from now on and make sure the case isn't heard until after the playoffs start? I can understand Highlands staff standing up for the kid from the beginning, BUT if the governing body declares him ineligible, you are taking a huge, huge risk by letting him play. If I'd have lost to Highlands in the playoffs, and they later were ruled to have used an ineligible player and were allowed to move on that would be just plain wrong.
