Scott Co may be that good, but they have played a schedule that leaves a lot to be desired. I think #3 is a bit high for them.

I agree. 5A was extremely competitive other than Highlands the past 4 years. I hope the top 4A teams prove to be more competitive with Highlands, but I won't hold my breath long.

How players like Knipp and Shanklin, who have signed D1 basketball scholarships, don't make it over players who aren't going anywhere is beyond head scratching.

Importance of the game over the commonwealth? There might be 1,500 people show up. This game has no importance or notoriety anymore because of all the AAU and many other all star games out there. The selection process is ridiculous as well. You want kids that have signed D1 scholarships to go to a tryout? That is stupid in this day and age of AAU butt kissing.

I don't blame Behanan at all for electing not to "tryout".
