This doesn't hold water in many parts of the state of Ky and certainly doesn't hold water in every state south of here. It doesn't hold water in Ohio. It is about committment from administrations and coaching staffs.

Or we could let the same people who vote for the BGP top 10 that voted a 3-7 Male team in the top 10 while keeping a 7-3 Boone team out that had beaten Male by 2 TD's vote for the award. Geez

BG should win comfortably, but this game was nasty from a penalty perspective 3 weeks ago.

You hope! Ha! I agree the Dragons get over the Christian Co. hurdle this year. My only concern is the Dragons haven't been a dominant road team all year. I don't know how much to factor that aspect into this game.

Ballard isn't great, but they have played a MUCH tougher schedule. Ballard 27-21.

7 years ago, I could have never imagined 5A district 1 Hopkinsville finishing 0-10 and missing the playoffs for the second year in a row. Just shows how quickly poor administration decisions can kill a once proud football program.

I would be for going to 2 teams from each district making the playoffs if all other sports would end the senseless advancing of district runner-ups to the regional tourney. Once you get beat in the tournament, your season should be over.

This has nothing to do with Graves or Ohio. It has to do with Warren Central and Christian.

Not gonna disagree with anything you said DF. I was defending placing Christian ahead of WC the past 2 weeks in the region 1 poll. At this point, I think Warren Central is clearly ahead of Christian Co. Christian definetly has more "head-scratching" scores than WC.

Warren Central squeaked by a 4-6 Meade team as well as a 1-7 at the time Ballard team. Arguments can be made both ways.

When it is Christian Co. and they are 9-0, yes. Unlike the mindless voting in the BGP 6A poll voting a 2-7 Male team into the top 10.

That was because WC had just lost and Christian was undefeated. Christian just laid a huge egg losing to Southwestern. WC will roll Christian in the second round too.

And there lies the problem for Graves. They've played NOBODY on their schedule like Warren Central.

Warren Central will bludgeon Graves. Too much speed. 55-14.

Kyle Pierce. He has Edmonson Co 10-0 and has done a great job (and has for several years) with very limited resources.

When you go dancing, you dance with the girls that are there. There are more worthy teams than Male based on 10 weeks of results. It doesn't matter if they are ugly girls or not.

I'm sure Male will move up in the rankings if they squeak by 2A Christian Academy of Louisville. Nobody should ever badger the AP poll around here again.

But you keep a 2-7 Male team in the top 10? Both Lafayette and Male lost to Lex Cath. Lafayette by 3....and Male by 8! There is NO data that shows Male be in the top 10 and Boone or Lafayette be out.
