Who wins this 5A game?

I think CC has enough talent to pull the upset, but I don't they've been consistent enough to justify a victory. WC gets the W. 35-27

The streak stops here.
You hope! :D Ha! I agree the Dragons get over the Christian Co. hurdle this year. My only concern is the Dragons haven't been a dominant road team all year. I don't know how much to factor that aspect into this game.

Sorry Dragon but not this year!

That's not really even just this year. But generally where they've run into issues are the real long trips. Meade County, Ballard, Pulaski County, and Nelson County last year, all two hours or more away. All of those it looked like they were real sluggish. The ones closer in, they typically do well. Hopkinsville is about an hour away, and generally, that's not the same issue for them. At least I hope.....

If not this year, then I don't know when it would be that Central would get them, because I strongly feel that Central is better than them this time, while I did not the past two years. Despite Christian County's record, I think this is as vulnerable as they've been in years. All I have to go on are schedule comparisons, but the disparity between the two in common opponents is striking. I've read they're more balanced this year, but it doesn't seem they have the breakaway talents that they had last year.

I have personally watched both teams play this season vs. Fort Campbell. Warren Central is by far the superior team in this match-up.

WC by two TDs

Warren Central handled Graves Co rather easily and Christian Co struggled against Graves, so I think I'll take Warren Central.

Christian County Colonels

Last Week: defeated Barren County 48-0

All-Time Second Round Record: 6-4

Warren Central Dragons

Last Week: defeated Graves County 55-21

All-Time Second Round Record: 6-7

**Second round began in 1991**

Past Playoff Meetings

1989 - Warren Central 39 Christian County 12

1990 - Warren Central 28 Christian County 14

2004 - Warren Central 30 Christian County 24 (3OT)

2005 - Warren Central 36 Christian County 35

2009 - Christian County 13 Warren Central 7

2010 - Christian County 27 Warren Central 26 (OT)

Christian does not have that D1 talent that had last year in Tandy or Hickey that's apparent. Lossing their all state Dlinemen in practice was a big blow. In all honesty County is a year ahead of schedule. Replacing all 11 starters on offense and 8 on defense made most colonels fans thinking rebuilding year. This team is very young starting a freshmen along with around 5/6 sophomores is unheard of in recent memory. Some feel that the colonels have faded since their road wins over Henderson, Madisonville and Lone Oak. Typical nagging injuries have kept many starters out and it has shown. Coach Lovelace has said this is one of his favorite team he's coached. They will battle and are very unselfish. He kept some starters out the last couple of weeks to get healthy for the playoffs.

WC is a very good team. I think they are better than last year due to the maturity of their QB. They also have 3 backs who can score anywhere on the field against most teams. Defense is stingy but have given up some points due to the fact they are also very young. WC offense is what its scary good. Unlike many wing-t teams they attack downhill with speed.

Saying all this I feel like the colonels will still win this game. Should be a fun game to watch.

I think this year Warren Central is the better team and wins by 2 TDs.

As much as I'd like to see Christian County win this one (because one of the players is in my teens class at church), I have to agree with FalconBacker and FC.....Warren Central by no more than 3 touchdowns.

Later.

Warren Central 42-41.
