I think one kid that is not on the list is Isaac Hardesty. QB/FS for Owensboro Catholic. He has over 2200 yards 28 TD passes. 501 rushing with 5 TD's and 39 tackles 4 Int's, Punt Returns 1 for TD, and can hit.

 

Problem for him is he don't live in the right part of the state and has not signed with UK.

Reminds me of Justin Burke. He committed to NC State ot of Lex Cath. He had outstanding numbers and victories. I believe he lost out to Micah Johnson, who was deserving, but I think the fact that he went to UK put him over the top to win the award.

Or the fact Micah was a 5 star recruit out of high school??? Hardesty struggled mightily when he saw a tough defense in the state title game last year. The award hands down goes to Patrick Towles.

I would think Towles would have to be the leading candidate. I wonder if playing for Highlands might hurt him more than help him.

Towles looks to be the front runner but it would be hard to take it from Jude! Highlands is loaded every year which helps guys in the skilled positions to have better stats. I think the presence of Jude has brought his team as a whole to a much higher level..More than Towles has for Highlands. Towles really didn't play against Elder and they still won. If Jude out JC clearly not as good! IMO..Good luck to all the young men!

Are you kidding me?? Towles made it to the Elite 11..The top 24 qb's in the country..Towles has played half a game 3/4 of the time..The skilled kids on HHS never have great stats because of not playing full games..Your logic is flawed I believe..

May be flawed in your opinion but it is still my thoughts and my opinion! I voted for Towles on hear. I am just saying that Jude is more valuable to his team, also he set a career rushing record in the state. You said Towles made it to the elite 11 and that is awesome but Jude has made it to #1 state all time rusher! Quite the accomplishment! :thumb:

I personally have never seen any on these kids play, but I Have seen Cameron Vocke play 2 times and I am surprised that this young man did not even make the list! He is outstanding, especially in the open field!
