Congrats to Coach Hinson on having his boys ready to play. The man coaches very hard and it's a treat to watch him coach as well. The man has great passion and it is noticed throughout the area. Congrats also to Coach Hump and the Cards.

For what it is worth, I also agree that Jordan Smith isn't very good at all. I saw him hit several shots in the game against Bishop Brossart, but he is a very weak ball handler, average shooter (must be wide open), is small, but not scrappy. Now, I have been to almost 14 Campbell games this year, and never once did I say, "That's a player." Also, I am not a Brossart fan, nor do I ever plan on being one, but Jordan Armstrong is way better than Jordan Smith. Armstrong can flat play defense and it a better ball handler. Jordan Smith is not that good of a defender, and isn't a very good ball handler. He would be a better two guard. Finally, I don't get the Scott Code bashing. I think it is ridiculous that people compare him to a janitor at a horrible resturant. If you don't like the way he coaches, then go somewhere else, or don't try out. CCH Camels 1, you talk of kids that won't come back next year, if I were Scott Code I would rejoice. Play the younger guys and build.

I believe they lost to them earlier in the season by nearly 40. But, Calvary has played better basketball since then and will definately be ready to play. I'll take Scott by 22. Too much size for the Cougars. Best of luck to both teams.

Who officiated this game? Shame the goal tend wasn't called. No way Newport beats Highlands. Highlands will defend and get after Newport. Just my opinion. Good luck to both.

Well said. I believe Brossart will get Campbell in the districts. Brossart has turned up the heat, but Campbell appears they want this to be over. Nice job to Scott County.

Looked like Ken Ellis and Bob Cole. How do they get that game? No wonder there was no control of the game. They're just after votes (b/c they don't get any) and Scott doesn't vote. Congrats to the Birds and Coach Schlarman

IMO Campbell doesn't match up with quick/athletic teams. At any time, Campbell has three really athletic kids on the floor, but usually two slower/bigger kids. This score doesn't surprise me mostly bc Newport was probably able to get the ball out and run a little bit, which probably hurt CCHS. I could be wrong though.
