I'll take CovCath in this one in a squeaker. They're finally riding with a higher spirit after a couple of nice wins and really feeling good about themselves. They know the game of basketball and they know that they can play it. They also know it's time to get down to business and they're not going to let Beechwood get by them twice in the same year, and they know what's at stake. Their struggle through adversity this year has only made them stronger for withstanding it all. Their spirit is alive and all the CovCath excitement that you thought you had to wait until next year to see will come back in a bang with the Crazies storming the floor.

Go Colonels :thumb:

I too will go with CovCath. They only lost by 5 the last time around and honestly didnt play that great of a game. If CovCath gets the ball inside to Isler and Wellbrock, and those two rebound, it will open up the outside for Ives and Maile. IMO their best bet is just to drive to the rim and limit the 3's. That is where we lose it. All that being said, GO COLONELS!

I like the Beechies in this one. As bad as Covcath played in the first go around, from talking to Coach Schumate, Beechwood didn't exactly have their best game either. I see it being a close game throughout with neither team leading by more than 5. Third quarter I think Romes and Beuttel start to take over and get a 5-7 point lead which will lead the Colonels to jump in "panic mode" and start jacking up 3's which will take them out of it real quick. Unfortunately, I see the Colonels season ending Monday night, and a new team making the regional tournament out of the 35th.

Does anyone have the details on presale tickets for the Cov Cath - Beechwood game on Monday?

Not sure you can get pre sale tickets. I'd call HC Monday and find out, since they're the ones who likely have them.

I like CovCath by 8 - 60-52. The Crazies were non-existent, Beechwood had home court, and the Colonels have a new life. All of that put together, I see CCH pulling this one out, especially in a hostile HC gym environment. I don't think Beechwood has played in one like there will be on Monday and the Colonels will prevail.

I'd have to disagree with you that Beechwood hasn't played in an environment like they will Monday.

Their home games against both CCH and Highlands were packed and they also played in a hostile environment at HC earlier in the year.

This is a trap game for Beechwood. They will have a tough time beating CCH twice in one season but I think they get it done. I like Beechwood by 7.
