I'd have to disagree with you that Beechwood hasn't played in an environment like they will Monday.

To be honest it really wasn't that hostile of an environment that night. Holy Cross had around 20 students there for them and Beechwood brought no one. It wasn't packed by any means though.

It is, the Beechwood Cov Cath game is at 6:00. The KHSAA web site and this mornings Enquirer have it backwards.

Wow... I knew Romes presents a huge matchup problem for CCH, but I thought Maile would be able to slow him down some. If I remember correctly he had about 20 didn't he? I look for that to be a problem again tonight. If Maile can't stop him they don't have anyone else athletic enough too.

I agree...another reason I see the Beechies winning. Covcath just really doesn't have anyone who can guard both Romes and Beuttel. I also see Smith making it tough for both Isler and Wellbrock inside because of his size.

 

Look for either Pohlgeers or Snyder to to step up and be the "X-Factor" in this one.

I say Snyder is the one to watch. He is a very athletic inside guy. If I were CCH, I would pound the ball inside and tell my guys to take it to the hoop. If they can get Snyder and/or Smith in foul trouble, they have a chance. CCH just has not shown enough improvement for me to think they can pull off the upset. I say Beechwood has too many weapons and tough matchups. Beechwood by 7.

In order for Ice to be successful against Smith its imperative that he gets Smith on his hip. If he just lets Smith stay behind him, he'll have trouble scoring.
