In order for Ice to be successful against Smith its imperative that he gets Smith on his hip. If he just lets Smith stay behind him, he'll have trouble scoring.

 

I agree. Smith's size will make it tough for him to just score over top of him. He'll have to be aggressive and get position down low in order to be successful.

I think the paper has it listed at 8:15 because that's when the game was first going to be. They changed it to 6 and I guess the paper didn't get the message.

I do not believe they were a factor. CCH resorted to their panic offense from the beginning really. Hope to see them utilize their inside game this time around, if not then it will likely be a W for the Beechwood Tigers. If they get it into their big men I can see CovCath pulling this off nicely.

Unfortunate but its probably the best alternative. If not then what's going to happen is the boys game sells out and folks that want to see ONLY the girls game have two choices:

 

1. Get there 3 + hours before the girls game and sit through the boys game

2. Not have any tickets to buy because they were all sold for the boys game.

 

No offense to the young ladies at BW but I don't think there are many people going to the boys game that would stay for the girls game. They don't seem to get that kind of support.

The biggest key for CCH's bigs to be successful is for them to actually get enough touches. If CovCath throws it inside and drives to the basket they have a good chance of winning IMO. Otherwise it will be the same game as last time.

Live video is already going on Holy Cross TV. The gym looks like it is filling up early. It doesn't look to me like that gym holds many more than Beechwood.
