I'd have to disagree with you that Beechwood hasn't played in an environment like they will Monday.

 

Their home games against both CCH and Highlands were packed and they also played in a hostile environment at HC earlier in the year.

 

It might have been packed but the crazies weren't there and no one can deny the fact that it makes a difference, whether it be positive or negative, when they are in full force it's a game changer.

For some reason I remember the '93 class not going to Region when they were matched up with Holy Cross in the the first round of districts. This was before they seeded the districts.

I like the Colonels to pull off the upset but it will be a struggle. Beechwood is very tough and well coached. Respectful suggestion for the Colonels when they are on defense. If the Beechwood player's name is Trey....and he is wearing #3... you might not want to give him many open looks from beyond the arc. Buettel's early points set the tone in the first meeting.

Really? That's interesting. The '92 team went to state.

If I remember correctly they were the top 2 teams in the region that year but they drew each other in the first round of districts at Beechwood. Not sure how to confirm this

Correct. Beechwood made in 04/05 and lost to Conner in the first round.
