I would really like to see Todd return, but it would be tough to return to a place when you must walk on egg shells and have everything you do be scrutinized.

He was at Ryle until he abruptly quit just before the start of the 2008 or 2009 season. He moved to Florida to coach and then moved back to Kentucky and I believe is somewhere in Lexington or Louisville. Rumor had it he had applied, so I'm just adding 1+1 and I have no inside scoop as to the truth of my hunch.

As in any tournament, this will come down to match ups. In years past, some of the first and second round winners have been a surprise. However, once their stud has thrown to win game one, they're mediocre. To get to Saturday you need three good pitchers. If you're lucky enough to get to Saturday night, anything can happen.

Tough draw for some, great draw for others. Any thoughts on who may play on Saturday? West bracket is loaded with nice teams. Easy bracket should come down to Highlands, CovCath or NCC you'd think. HHS/CC game should be a good one!

This team definitely doesn't hit like teams in recent years. It'll be tough to get out of their district/region not scoring runs.

Good win for NewCath, especially coming off of the loss to Lloyd. I was really pleased to see Brandon Gray get the start and win in this game. That kid is a gamer and has earned his chance at being in the Varsity rotation.

I'm truly ignorant about these rules, but I know for a fact a kid in NKY repeated the 8th grade last year, competed on the 9th grade team, went to 9th grade this year and played on the 9th grade team there. Now, he had to transfer schools in order to repeat 8th grade, but that was the situation. I can't see anyone wanting to break any rules there, and it seemed harmless to me, but does that constitute a violation? Who suffers from it? The child?

He used to pitch as well. A very good pitcher, too!

I saw him play against someone, so I don't think he's hurt. Maybe he's just having a slow start?? I thought he pitched, but haven't seen him in any box scores.

I never thought Snapp would get this job, even though he still might, but to have not been interviewed after all this time doesn't sound good for him. I really like Rod, but I don't know if Ryle is the best place for him.
