West Bracket

-The winner of that game will play St Henry at St Henry at 7:30 (May 9)

-Lloyd @ Dixie at 5:00 (May 9)

--The winner of St Henry and Conner/Simon will play the Dixie/Lloyd winner on May 10 (site and time TBD)

 

-Grant Co @ Ryle at 5:30 (May 9)

-Boone @ Cooper at 5:00 (May 9)

--Winner of Grant/Ryle will play Boone/Cooper winner on May 10 (site and time TBD)

 

**The West semifinals are at Ryle on May 11 at 1:00.

 

East Bracket

 

-Scott vs Beechwood (May 8, site and time TBD)

-The winner of that game will play against Holy Cross at Meinken at 7:30 (May 9)

-Campbell Co @ Brossart (St Mary) at 5:00 (May 9)

18 teams. A higher number than years past. Last year I believe was 15 (7 in the West and 8 in the East).

Tough draw for some, great draw for others. Any thoughts on who may play on Saturday? West bracket is loaded with nice teams. Easy bracket should come down to Highlands, CovCath or NCC you'd think. HHS/CC game should be a good one!

Good luck trying to get that type of information at the freshmen level as there is no one place that publishes it like KHSAA does for varsity.

I dont have any records, but the 2 strongest teams I've seen have been Cooper and Conner

CCH beat Cooper 13-10 on Saturday and Connor 6-4 on Monday.........without bringing any of the 7 Freshman playing JV down...

I watched the CCH versus Conner game on Tuesday night, CCH has gotten a lot better since I saw them earlier in the year against Highlands. Highlands impressed me that game, should be a dandy first round matchup.

Just curious, will CovCath bring the "JV Freshman" down for the Freshman Regional?

My understanding is that possibly 4 Frosh will come down. Those are the ones that have been playing with the Frosh periodically the entire year.....

So far, in the games they have played, Camp.Co looked the best. (haven't played cch or ryle)

My personal thought on this one is the same as soccer....

 

I am ok bringiing any Freshman down....even if they are playing Varsity.....it is a class tourny (Freshman class)

 

Different feeling about the JV tourny.....if you are getting signficant V time, or have or are started (ing) then you shouldn't come down. It isn't a class tourny (FR, So, Ju, Se)

several teams have freshman boys playing JV and they will NOT come down just for the freshman tourney. If they're good enough for JV, it does no good for overall development to bring them back down to win a freshman tournament. Let the boys who have been playing strictly freshman ball play to win the freshman tourney.
