Highlands beat Cov. Cath. 5-4 @ CCH. Birds led 5-2 going into the 7th and the Colonels scored 2 and had the tying run on third...Birds brought in Trent Casebolt to face a CCH pinch hitter and Casebolt struck him out swinging to end the game!

I heard NCC beat Holmes (no score) and that NCC plays HHS at Highland Park tomorrow at 5:00 PM. Should be a dandy.

Errors are the most glaring difference between frosh and JV and V levels.

After watching Boone yesterday tney have a lot of momentum, I'm liking their odds tonight!

Did any teams bring JV players down to play?

My guess is all...........CCH brought down 4 players that have been playng both Fr and JV all year. Left 5 up...........

 

Personally, I'm ok with it for this tournament. It is a FRESHMAN tournament, so all FRESHMAN should be eligible.

 

Have different views for teams that bring starting V'ers down for the JV tourny....but that is for another thread.
