I think it’s the fact that we can’t retain kids from the junior high program. A lot of the kids are either going to NCC Cov Cath and Highlands. A lot of the kids wanna go to that Have a chance to win a state championship. Overall, I believe that Brossart is a good school and growing a football program. But what holds them back is just the lack of football knowledge and the retention of kids. I do think the players they have on the team are raw and need development. But they do have some really good players coming back! But it’s hard when kids start playing either 1-2 years in Jr High and make the jump to high school.

Bishop Brossart will travel to Trimble County to finish up District play. Brossart came off of a win against Ludlow. Trimble coming off a big blowout to Holy Cross. Thoughts on this matchup?

Bracken County will win with a running clock! Don’t think St Henry can handle the Polar Bears big line!

The Bishop Brossart Mustangs who are 2-5 travel to Ludlow who is 3-4. The Mustangs are coming off a gritty loss to Holy Cross in a defensive showdown losing 6 to 3. Ludlow is coming off of a bye week. Any thoughts on who will win this match up?

Very exciting game! This District with Holly Cross, Bishop Brossart, Ludlow, and Trimble County. It’s wide open. Grant it Trimble has been a non factor. But this game is wide open! I like Brossart in this but can they keep up with the physicality of Holy Cross and keep HC QB at bay. Just with Holy Cross they have played a weak schedule other than Bracken County vs what Brossart has played this year.

Bishop Brossart who is 2-3 on the year is traveling down to Louisville the play against 3A DeSales who is 2-3. Any thoughts on this matchup?

The 4-0 Nicholas County Bluejackets travel to Alexandria to take on the 2-2 Bishop Brossart Mustangs. The blue jackets are coming off a forfeit against Berea. The Mustangs are coming over a brutal loss to Bracken County 41-13. Who do you think wins this matchup.

I do listen to it but I get annoyed because NKY football gets a backseat because they talk about all the GCL and GMC schools etc. Yeah they talk about Beechwood, COV Cath, Ryle, SK and Cooper. But most NKY schools and NKY football takes a ride in the backseat do not get mentioned as much as Ohio schools. Just think there is a bias on that radio show.

Beechwood is too much for SK. Tigers win 42-14.

Fair enough! I get it but just from there past season just think Holy Cross needs to win more big opponent games other than just Bracken Co before they crack the top 10.

With Holy Cross being 10, I’m just curious on how they crack the top 10. With a win over St Henry and Bracken I think they would be on the outside looking in. Grant it Bracken is a legit team and from what I heard had some injuries in that game I just think they need to prove themselves more.

Bishop Brossart who is coming off a baseball score loss to Sayre and is 1-1 on the season, is traveling to Erlanger to take on the St Henry Crusaders, they are coming off a lost to Boone County and are 0-2. I’m sure there will be a big crowd at this one, especially for their second home game at the varsity level. Thoughts on this matchup.

Heard there were a lot to mistakes and turnovers. Both teams trying to figure things out early in the season. Did hear that’s someone on Brossart got hurt hope he is okays. Prayers out to him and his family!

I like Lloyd in this matchup! I have the Juggs winning a close one and could see NCC making it a game. 24-17 Lloyd.

I like Gallatin in this matchup 34-21. Starts out as a close game but Gallatin pulls away.

I too think St Henry will surprise some people. Holy Cross might have some athletic players but I think St Henry makes up a good game plan to hold Holy Cross stars in check.

Eager to see what happens with the matchup. Walton and Brossart have a coach with one season under their belt! So this could be a shoot out!
