The Mustangs won this one 31-6 last year.

Eager to see what happens with the matchup. Walton and Brossart have a coach with one season under their belt! So this could be a shoot out! 

This should be a good matchup.

This could be a really good game. If either wins overwhelmingly I would say it’s fair to say to look out for that team. 

Will be a similar score as last year.

We have played well in our two pre-season scrimmages - Boone County and Scott.

We have been effective on both sides of the ball, and seem to be transitioning nicely to whichever of our two Junior quarterbacks, Landon Spaulding or Tripp Wilson, gets the call.

We have a veteran receiving corps, and perhaps the top placekicker/punter all of Class 1a and perhaps in the state in Senior Soccer-Stang Max Runge.  A year ago he connected on 53 of 55 PAT attempts.

It will be up to the team to provide him with enough touchdowns to compete for that distinction.

I look for a strong outing at Walton Friday night.
