On Friday, August 22, the regular season begins with a huge first game!  The Covington Holy Cross Indians travel to Erlanger, KY for the first ever varsity game of the St. Henry Crusaders.  Gametime is 7:00 p.m.  This will be a sellout!  Currently, the Holy Cross roster is 26 players while the St. Henry one shows 54.  Who wins this Northern KY Catholic high school showdown?  Start the discussion.

Holy Cross probably a running clock.

Know nothing here, but greatly suspecting that this St. Henry squad will have a ton of youth football experience and the fear of contact will disappear pretty quickly.  I project the Cru will surprise many with their competitiveness.  Cru win 1st game ever 20-13.

I too think St Henry will surprise some people. Holy Cross might have some athletic players but I think St Henry makes up a good game plan to hold Holy Cross stars in check. 

I imagine (or hope) no alums are picking against St. Henry in the first-ever varsity game in school history GO CRU!!

Would love to see St. Henry pull this one out but I think Holy Cross has too much for the Cru right now. I think Hunt has a huge night. Holy Cross 35-7.
