On Friday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m.*, Covington Holy Cross (6-0) visits Bishop Brossart (2-4) to begin district play.  Can Holy Cross keep their winning streak going (this time on the road) or does Bishop Brossart make it six wins in a row over the Indians?  A battle of the "streaks" in Alexandria!  Start the discussion.

* Game was changed to 7:30 p.m. this past week.

With the ball in Ferguson's hands. I'll take the Indians.

Very exciting game! This District with Holly Cross, Bishop Brossart, Ludlow, and Trimble County. It’s wide open. Grant it Trimble has been a non factor. But this game is wide open! I like Brossart in this but can they keep up with the physicality of Holy Cross and keep HC QB at bay.
Just with Holy Cross they have played a weak schedule other than Bracken County vs what Brossart has played this year.

Mustangs will have to wipe out the memories of our recent experiences against Bracken,  Nicholas County, and DeSales and revert to the form exhibited in the pre-season.  We should benefit from last week's Bye Week.

We will not be intimidated by the Tribe, and I look for a much improved outing from the Mustangs this week.

That is a lot of wiping, Mustang.

What a turn around Coach Spencer has done. A complete 180. It’s years like this I would love to and hate to have them stayed in our district. HC is rolling in this one. Good luck to both teams.

Different style of football teams.

Would love to hear your take on the different styles. What style does Brossart match up well against in your opinion? What does Brossart do (in your welcomed opinion) to beat Holy Cross this Friday?
IMO, if Brossart can match physically, they might have a shot.

Nelson Perrin III and Bruce Arlinghaus are co-Offensive Coordinators.

Last year was unfortunate for the Indians with injuries to so many players.  It was just a couple years ago that this set of players was small middle school champions in NKY.
