Wow! Just Wow! So proud of the Rebels. The win yesterday against Lex Cath was their first State win in I think four trips.

Just heard the news and as a Boyle County fan I am thrilled. That being said I am sorry for the way it went down and any damage or hurt that was caused to Madison Central. I guess we will find out if you really can go home again. Welcome home Chuck!

I don't think that he did anything wrong. I take it at face value that he has been a lifelong USC fan. I hope he is wonderfully happy with his choice and becomes an all-american while he is there. But, and it's a big but, Lane Kiffin is a big hot mess. Turmoil follows him everywhere he has been. It came out yesterday that he may sitll be sanctioned by the NCAA from the problems he walked away from at TN. If he wasn't going to UK then I am glad he went across the country, just wish it had been Oregon, a team I would happily cheer for. GO REBELS!!! GO BIG BLUE!!!

PurplePride I know you are Lamar's biggest fan and I have seen you state that you hoped that he wouldn't waste his talents at UK. I am also a Lamar fan and I am disappointed because I am also a UK season ticket holder and I was hoping to watch him play and cheer for him. I sit with friends from Boyle County and every time a BCHS kid makes a play when we cheer we yell "that's a Boyle County Boy". I wish Lamar the best. If that's his dream he needs to follow it. Kiffen is a big hot mess and I hate to see him in the middle of that. GO REBELS!!! GO BIG BLUE!!!

Can't understand why he wants to go all the away across the country to play for a sleaze like Kiffin. I wish him well for himself personally but I won't be pulling for his team.

I think it would be a great game just like the Boyle/Bell and Boyle/ACS. When you get to this part of the season they are all champions. GO REBELS!!!

Just got to a computer as we drove on down to Alabama after the game to see family. Really proud to be a Rebel. I suppose the Rebels don't like being behind at halftime because they came out with fire for the 2nd half. Back to back undefeated Champions. Way to go Rebels. GO REBELS!!!

REBELS!!! Just got home from Log Mountain and it was a sweeeeeeeeeeetttttttttt drive home this year. I was really worried when Bell came back and took the lead in the 2nd quarter, but the Rebels responded like Champions. I am still cold and very tired but very proud to be a Rebel tonight.

Congratulations Rebels on a hard fought win. I was worried about this game all week and it turned out to be like the BC/LC games of old. Great game Knights. It will be turned around next season when you have the seasoned veterans and the Rebels are the young team. On to Log Mountain. He may be a police officer and former announcer but he also has a great knowledge of football. Sam Harp would not have him as an assistant otherwise. There is also no one who has more love for the Admirals than Todd. Some Ads fans have lamented what seems to be a loss of their traditions. There is no one who has more respect for that tradition. He lives and breathes it in his everyday life and he tries to instill it in these young players. Make no mistake, I am a live it, breathe it, bleed black and gold Rebel fan for as log as Rebel Football has existed. More years than I care to admit. I have seen the good and bad and in between of both Boyle and Danville Football. One of the saddest things I have ever heard is that Danville only had approximately 150 fans at the Bardstown game. I never thought I would see the day. Ads fans need to get behind this young team. I work with Danville fans and we have had the "what has changed" discussion. One of them suggested that the team doesn't get the same support as it used to. Are Ads fans "fairweather fans" who only support the team when it is winning? I don't know but I look forward to more battles between the Rebels and the Ads in the future. GO REBELS!!!

Congratulations Rebels!!! I am so proud of you all. You really took it them in the second half. Practice hard this week and next week in Bowling Green FINISH THE FIGHT!!! Bring home another Championship and the well deserved first one for Coach French. GO REBELS!!!

I was at that game with Hoptown. That is probably the best high school stadium I have ever been to. I hope to make it back down again this Friday. If this game is as good as that Hoptown game I don't think my old heart will be able to stand it. GO REBELS!!!

Great game Rebels, after you worked out the bugs of the first quarter. Don't like some of these slow starts. Come on DHS fans get behind this young team. They are having lots of growing pains but I see talent there. It's got to be disheartening for them to see the stands so empty. Boyle had so much experience coming back this season. Next year the young DHS team will have a year of growing under their belts. GO REBELS!!!

In a lot of ways they do. They are smaller but they swarm to the ball again, forcing teams to go east and west. Chuck Smith's defenses did the same thing, maybe he learned this from Coach French, I don't know. On a different note, I was thrilled to see the shape the field is in this year. What an improvement. I have never seen it look this good. GO REBELS!!!

I am really looking forward to this game. It seems that the Rebels have found their offense this season, but they need to pick it up on the defensive side of the ball. I sure do miss those swarming defenses that the Rebels used to use to beat teams that had more speed. They will have to pick it up against Danville's burners. I think this is going to be a close game, but the Rebels need to get on top and not dig a hole for themselves like they have been apt to do the last two years. GO REBELS!!!
