Sounded like a great game again between 2 GREAT programs!

Three straight years the winner was victorious by 2 points, 3 points and 4 points.

Way to Go Rebels!!! See you in Bowling Green!  :jump: :dancingpa

So much for Bell being the best team in class 1-5.........

Congrats to Boyle on the win.

My thoughts exactly when I saw this score.

Congrats to Boyle County! The win streak continues...

Yep, old Dud has to wait till 2011 to get his "most wins ever in Kentucky" title. Great to see Boyle take this one on Log Mountain! That should keep the Bell faithful from spouting off about being the best in all classes except 6A this year.

It does tend to limit that conversation.

I will say thing, Bell and Boyle have been pretty even these three years. It's been a great playoff rivalry that reminds me every bit of the one the Rebels had with Hopkinsville in the early 00's.

Congrats to both teams on great seasons.

Now dudley can go rabbit hunting like he talked about on the Joe B. and Denny show. I am one of those that thought Bell would win this easy. Congrats Boyle.

Bell is an excellent team and showed it all year. Would like to see the stats on this one.

Rebels seem to step up in each big game they've played this year. I hope they can do it one more time.

Anyone who was at the game will tell you that Boyle was very lucky to leave with a victory. Bell County shot themselves in the foot several times. They served this one up to Boyle on silver platter. That is what makes it such a touch loss for these Seniors. Instead of stepping up and making key plays....several times kicks were muffed.....passes dropped wide-open in endzone.....self-inflicted turnovers. Yes, Boyle played a great game and put some pressure on the QB.....but any other night he makes those throws when he has that kind of time...and does not put the ball on the ground like he did tonight. Those were drops and not due to strips or hits. Great, close game, but Bell kept digging out of the holes they dug for themselves...just ran out of time. Had Bell thrown the ball in the first half like they did in the second half.....outcome probably would have been different as well Congratulations to the Rebels. They should bring home the title, but need to beware of the AllenCounty-Scottsville passing game!!

Who Ya With! Rebels:clap: Way to go!! Great defense for the Rebels tonight as they held Bell County to 81 yards rushing for the game.

Some stats tonight:

Boyle County

178 yards rushing

118 yards passing

Bell County

81 yards rushing

202 passing

They held Bell to under 85 yards rushing thats a statement and truly a achievement good luck in BG.

 I just got off the phone with one of the Boyle stats guys who painted a TOTALLY DIFFERENT Picture my friend. Bell probably didn't have 100 yards rushing. Drops had nothing to do with the drives Boyle had to win. (In fact you don't mention a bad pass by the Boyle QB set up the first TD for Bell) As far as running out of time, the Bobcats had their time outs and 4 minutes but Boyle kept the ball and drove out the time when you knew they weren't going to be throwing.

I never whined when Bell won 2 years ago after the Rebels turned it over 6 times. Bell made those plays. They deserved it.

Just give credit to the victors and walk away with the class a program like Bell deserves. :thumb:
