Hatz have you already made your hotel reservations for next weekend?

Congrats to BC on their huge win on Log Mountain. Bigger question to those in the know, will Uncle Dudley get his big victory at Bell Cty next yr or will it be a little bit due west and North say in the Lexington area. Just saying the folks in Harlan Cty say the run is over in Bell Cty for Uncle Dudley.

Congratulations Rebels, sounds like it was a hard fought one.

Guess the Boyle fans are about an half hour away from being home. I decided to stay down in Middlesboro at a hotel and drive on down to Knoxville to watch the CATS end the streak. Going to be a wonderful weekend for me.

Congratulations are in order for the Rebels. Great game tonight between 2 good teams. Too many turnovers was what beat Bell tonight, can't have 5 turnovers against a good team like Boyle. The interception by the Boyle player was a good catch of a bad pass. Boyle's defense is out of this world fast. Just one thing left to do, Go Rebels bring home the hardware!!!!!

Great game. I will miss these playoff games in round 4. Good luck to Bell County in 3A. Maybe we can somehow get a regular season game going in the future.

I'd like to see a regular season game also between these 2 programs. As a fan of the game I think these 2 teams bring out the best games. Tonights game was a great game as well, other then the outcome :notworthy:, Great game with great fans on both sides. Yes we yell during the game but after the game we can can talk about how well both teams played.

Quick shout out to BGP member SEBell. I ran into him while waiting in the bathroom line at halftime. He had on a BGP sweatshirt so I had too introduce myself.

Another incredible game between two top-notch teams. Both defenses were solid all night. Bell just had too many turnovers, which was the case with Boyle 2 years ago. Does anyone know how long it's been since Bell has lost a game at home? Just curious.

My guess would be Alcola at the start of last season.

Too many turnovers for Bell County. The early fumble on the Bell sideline stopped a promising drive and the interception from Madon when he was trying to throw the ball away was terrible. Probably would have been a different game if those two mistakes don't happen. Bell seemed to settle down after that and in fact took back the lead, but Boyle seemed just a little better all night. Two really good teams.

My guess would be Alcola at the start of last season.

I revise my question to include Kentucky teams only.:D

Yes Alcoa was the last time Bell had lost at home. Good luck Rebels and to all the fans, be safe in your travels to Bowling Green.

Quick thought about the state final:

Two years ago Bell County beat Boyle County in this game which many called "the state championship game," but then struggled to win the final against Bullitt East. Last year Boyle beat Bell in which many called "the state championship game," but then struggled to beat Lone Oak. I think Boyle is a favorite in the final this year, but recent history has shown that the western Kentucky 4A teams usually play a pretty good ball game in the finals.
