There are things floating around about the head coach at DuPont Manuel to step aside due to allegations.

This kid is special. He is a game changer. I am excited to see his growth and landing spot at the next level.

When will the public know of this hire?

Will the coach at either Bullitt Central or North that left South, apply? Any potential candidate names?

This has happened before unfortunately. Does Coach Ray go back to St. X with the departure of the new Lex Cath coach? Did he have a teaching position when he accepted the job? There may be a lot of things for this to occur. Pick up and move forward to all involved.

This hire makes sense and with his knowledge of the student = athletes coming up, this could be an established program from top to bottom if he can get the right coaches in to help! Good Luck Coach Tarter

Larry Vaught had a very good article, maybe more on his concerns of the DIS administration when they let Clevenger go. I know there is more to the story than what has hit surface level, but Clevenger hit a home run when he was hired by Somerset! The RB who is rumored to leave DHS and either be at Boyle or LCA - again, rumors. Who knows, but with the turnover of administration in the Danville Schools tells you a lot. You can't change the quality of the community by using the same broken myths that have displayed a failure to produce the Winning Football Culture of old, not just football but in general in the system. Times have changed, people and kids have changed. It is hard to be tough on kids when you don't win or relate to the kids - therefore, you must build relationships with the kids/families if you want to have a culture that succeeds, IMHO. Transferring is easy, but finding a way to have people, kids, staff, teachers and administrators to buy in and fight for what is right, well - it starts with leadership and maybe DIS will get it together, but it doesn't look so bright currently. Good luck to all that are in this together and hope nothing but the best for the students, staff, community that want to see Danville be the best it can in all areas, not just athletics/football.

Is this job even a job for someone that wants to establish tenure as a teacher? It seems to be a lot of turnover, so my main question is, Is the administration supportive in all facets of running a sound program?

Does she go to Boyle or Lincoln? Maybe Adair?

Coach Cooper’s son just announced his commitment. I believe it is a D-2 school, A Christian school in Georgia. If this plays out, Russell will announce this hire soon.

I had heard he was looking at any and all jobs that are open near Harrodsburg. There are a few, Frankfort, Anderson, Bethlehem, Lex Cath. Who Offers Coach Buchanan and what job does he accept?
