With Coach Bathiany taking the Moeller (OH) job LexCath is open.

Who is on the short list?

This should be a well sought-after job in the state of Kentucky. At one point during their last coaching hunt, I believe David Buchanan was considered, so wouldn't be surprised if he goes after it again. Boyle County DC Travis Burns has had some interest from teams around the state, so I expect him to at least get some attention. I also expect that a top job like this will attract some out-of-state attention.

How about the coach from Ryle?

Gosh, David Buchanan would be a home run hire in my book. About as high quality of a man and student of the sport as you are going to find. Yes, they could definitely get a high talented up and comer or a big splash out of state hire, but I will be firmly rooting for a Buchanan hire.

That would make for a very interesting off-season.

How will this move change the season outlook for Lex Cath, plus the new district and class?  I know of a kid who has left Already.

Two starters left Lexington Catholic after the football season. 

Pedroche to Lexington Christian and Wertzler to Woodford County.
