Maybe I’m in the minority here but unless Cooper has a defense full of Austin Alexander’s I don’t think SK is gonna struggle that much offensively. They’re big and physical and block well as an entire offensive unit plus a few solid receivers.

Freshman?? SK needs to find a way to hold onto him. It’s obviously early but he looks like a future star.

No shortage of the big boys in Independence. They looked physical tonight on both ends of the field. Only concern for me with SK is the defensive backfield but held up pretty well against a Lex Cath squad known for the air attack. Lex Cath looks to be a little down and Simon looks to be up. A more complete Simon squad than previous years.

Simon is just bigger and stronger.

That catch and run off that swing pass was nice. Definitely a dynamic runner.

48 running the ball for Simon looks pretty solid. Definitely helping mitigate the loss of Durrell.

I feel like Collins’ qb does not get enough recognition. Kid is going to be a sophomore. Can absolutely sling the rock and runs like a gazelle.

I really wasn’t that impressed with Woodford in their game against Fern Creek. They looked good but I don’t think they’re on the same level as Great Crossing or Louisville Male.

Scott County wins this game by a couple scores. But keep an eye on Kade Goodin. Kid is the future. Legit D1 prospect.

South Oldham offense seems to be coming along well but Oldham County is not good.

Going out on a limb here without knowing anything about the Garrard school system but it is possible the move was absolutely factored by academics. Montavin is a true 2024 and reclassified down to the 2025 class so it’s possible his academics weren’t up to par.

4A is really really strong this year! To me anybody in the top 4 can win it but Franklin is still in the mix as well.

To me if Boyle’s front 7 comes to play, then they win this game handily.

I’m curious how far out South Oldham is. Calpreps #32 team in the state. Cantrell #25 team. Only loss is to a top team in Ohio.
