Somerset 29 Lincoln County 7

After a scoreless first quarter, Somerset and on the first play of the 2nd quarter to go up 6-0 on an 8 yard Kris Hughes run.  Lincoln County came right back on a halfback pass one play later to go up 7-6.  After an interception  by Lincoln County, the Jumpers forced a punt. The snap went over the punter's head, and he kicked it out of his own end zone for a safety and an 8-7 Somerset lead.  The Jumpers scored on the ensuing possession on a 24 yard Kris Hughes run.  That's where we are at now. 15-7 Somerset 2:34 to go in the 2nd quarter.

Scoreless 1st Quarter

Somerset scores very early in the 2nd after going for it on 4th down in the red zone. PAT no good.

Lincoln immediately scores on a deep pass and run putting Lincoln up 7 to 6.

Ensuing kickoff and penalty pins Somerset at their own 1 to start the next drive. 

Jumpers drive to around midfield before Patriots intercept the ball around the 25. Somerset defense holds forcing a punt. Ball is snapped over the punters head and he just kicked the ball out of the endzone for a safety.  

Somerset up 8-6.

Somerset goes to the run and drives down for another score making current score 15-7 with 1:11 left in the half.
