EKU's annual 7-on-7 football camp is in Richmond this coming Saturday (July 20th). Does anyone have a list of participating teams and their pools? I plan to be there and will provide some updates.

There were 80 teams last year on 20 different fields.  Boyle County won the 7-on-7 tournament, and Lexington Christian won the lineman challenge.

The Northern Kentucky area schools that were in it last year:  Ryle, Highlands (two teams), Scott, Mason County, Grant County, Bracken County,

Pulaski ousted Boyle and Douglass in succession...

Boyle County's secondary was getting toasted. I know it's just 7 vs 7 but this Boyle team is not better than last year. Avery Bodner and Sage Dawson will be missed badly. One of the corners was getting beat the whole tournament.

Yes, but they will be fine. The murmurs I heard from nearby fans was more concerned with QB play. But the Geo kid apparently was getting burnt throughout the day on D.

The Pulaski QB was impressive, he was checking down his options and throwing accurately.  If their OL is good, they could be a problem this season!

Ryle went 6-1 losing to a good looking Paducah Tillman team. 30-27.

Beat Oldham Co, Freddie Douglas, PRP, Mercer Co, Cal 2, Ballard.

Verax looked great playing w/out his #1 WR.

Fun day! EKU does a great job running the event.

It was actually the McPherson kid that kept getting beat. Geo did too but this is his first year ever playing corner.

Ryle absolutely looked impressive. You'd think they must specifically practice 7 v 7 regularly, all of their games from the morning they were all in-sync and executing well!

Are they pass- heavy team, or 50/50?

Lol, don’t get the feeling the coaches love 7v7. They certainly don’t practice it regularly.

They should be balanced this year. Have a strong line and a few strong RB’s led by Savage.

Best part of the event for me is walking around and watching a lot of KY’s best up close. Great talent everywhere.

I feel like Collins’ qb does not get enough recognition. Kid is going to be a sophomore. Can absolutely sling the rock and runs like a gazelle.
