Both things are correct, Graves looks like it has its best team in a while, and McCracken has systemic issues beyond just how they played on Friday night. As for the comments about Bowling Green, this isn’t the same caliber of Bowling Green team as we are used to over the last decade. This past Friday BG snuck past PRP 7-0, which is telling about where BG is at this year.

I mean this as no slight to Graves, they looked great not only this game but last week against PT as well, but, this game I think says more about how far McCracken has fallen.

Yes this is absolutely true, there is more to it then that unfortunately. Many things have transpired that have lead to the downfall of the Mustang program.

I agree, and I don’t know which is the right answer, but McCracken’s front is going to need to dominate, and almost stop the run by themselves. If the safety’s have to get incredible involved in the run game, it is going to be a long night for the Mustangs,

My point is more, the defensive line is great, they will get home with a blitz or not, so leave as many people in coverage as possible.

He does, in this game though, I’m playing soft, keep everything in front, and make Graves execute 10 play drives all game.

If McCracken can hold it’s water, not blitz, and let it’s front win, they should have a great chance to win, if they blitz all game like against PT, the secondary will get picked apart.

No way I can pick against Mayfield in this game, I love the way PT has looked so far this year but Mayfield is still Mayfield.

Every loss hurts, especially after making a great comeback to take the lead, the schedule does not get any easier but with the way 3A looks Tilghman has a great opportunity to make a deep playoff run.

I'm still encouraged by PT, a young team that had shown a ton of promise, this year may not be the one where it really shows up, but it will may dividends down the line for the Blue Tornado.

The strength of the McCracken defense is the front 7, and BG largely did not challenge the secondary, which is where the McCracken defense really had trouble last week.

Not a BG fan obviously, but some observations. The defense is still great, really dominated the McCracken Offense all day. The offense wasn't great, but in my opinion wasn't hopeless, especially towards the end of the game BG may have found something on the ground. The offense doesn't need to be spectacular, it just needs to be passable with the way the defense is able to control games.
