Tilghman started out hot scoring on the 1st possession on a big pass play, but as you know if you've ever seen a Joe Morris coached team, you don't get to do what you like for long.

Tilghman used a couple uncharacteristic Mayfield turnovers to their advantage and trailed by a td at the half, 28-21.

Mayfield did what they always do in the 2nd half. Adjust and win. That's what they do. They took Tilghman out of rhythm in the air and completely took Tilghman's good running game and stuffed it.

Congrats to Mayfield on 16 in a row. When will the streak ever end?

It gets no easier for Tilghman next week as South Warren comes to town. Mayfield will host a reeling McCracken.

Great stuff tonight @TilghmanPride!

McCracken looks to regroup but Mayfield, South Warren, Davies County< Henderson loom large.

Good game by both teams. Paducah has plenty to build on with the young QB.

The Cardinals have weapons all over the field and used them all.  Good adjustments after halftime made a world of difference. Rushing only three at times really hampered Paducah's passing in 4th quarter.

McCracken county is in for a LONG year.

Mayfield is likely going to run the table. If a team slips then they will come to War Memorial. Then anything can happen.

A trip to War memorial in November is not going to be favorable for anyone.

It's good to see the Mayfield program headed in the right direction.

Great win tonite! Great atmosphere…looks like coach Thompson is really gaining momentum with the fan base. Kylan was so good tonite…they could not contain him. The James kid is going to be a good QB for PT…made some really good throws tonite. Good job Mayfield…16 in a row! GBR!

PTHS has a lot to be excited about. I have not watched them yet this year but look forward to seeing them soon.
