Cooper has too many weapons for the Tigers. All 5 kids on the court at anytime can score for the Jags. Beechwood has 2 kids that can hang with Cooper but the rest will struggle. Cooper by 10.

Per KHSAA - it looked like balanced scoring from CCH. Disken had 14 and Thelen added 10. CCH was 6 for 12 from behind the arc.

I wouldn't say Ohmer is out for sure until they tip tonight at 7:30. If this is true, it is unfortunate as I think it would be a good matchup between Ohmer and Disken. CCH's size wins this one but it will not be like the beat downs in past years (19 pts last season and 36 pts the previous year). CCH by 12.

Schneid means losing streak. 0-3 is a losing streak regardless of who they played. It was used correctly and wasn't offensive in any manner.

If the Cru plays a zone like they did against CCH, Highlands will bang down 3's. If the Cru plays man D, then Sisson owns them. It's a tough dilemma. HHS by 15+.

I agree with you on their 3's - it's been an ugly couple nights for their shooters. Regarding the free throws, KHSAA stats show they went 14 for 18 which isn't great but 78% is not bad. Thelen was 8 for 9 and Fleek was 2 for 2 - not bad for a couple bigs. They are definitely a work in progress!

The game I saw, CCH didn't get rattled until the technical that led to a 6 point possession and changed the momentum. They were up 18 before it. In the end Highlands wanted it more than CCH. And the home court advantage was huge for the Birds. Sissons was amazing! Personally, I think it was a good loss for CCH. They hopefully learned some things about their personnel. Not sure why they don't start Neil Green over the number 4 kid who got the technical - he doesn't do anything offensively. I am guessing there will be a different starting lineup in their next game. Highlands utilized Sisson well. And CCH coaches didn't take enough advantage of their size advantage by working the ball inside with Thelen, Fleek and Green - that has to change! Sisson had 2 fouls early and CCH didn't keep going after him. It was a fun environment and hats off to Highlands!
