You rarely see a defender get a charging call when they have established legal guarding position and they jump straight up while the offense runs directly into them.

I still feel WV is the best team in this region. Their score vs Gallatin this week should indicate how much better they are than Collins.

I havent seen anyone mention the CCH quick kick that was blocked and pretty much gave SW a TD - horrible call! Two big factors IMO that led to the game's outcome: 1) SW's defense was spectacular, especially their D line 2) CCH's play calling was atrocious. The coach obviously was not used to playing from behind. And I saw little adjustments from H1 to H2.

You might think he is "Unstoppable" when playing teams like BC and HC but they dont have players that can guard him. CCH does. He has taken over 40 shots in 2 games against weaker teams. Of course he is going to put up big numbers. I do like Beechwood and agree they will do some damage this year. The Brannen and Draud tandem will create havoc for defenses all season.

I hope that DA has another big night but I am thinking Scott will win by single digits playing team ball.

Someone said Green didn't start against Ludlow. The 3 Seniors started with Disken and another Junior. It will be interesting to see if he starts tonight against a bigger lineup. Or maybe they are keeping him on the bench to backup Thelen and Fleek when they get gassed or in foul trouble. Regardless, this should be a good game tonight. I'm taking CCH in a close single digit victory.

Great point! This thread seems to be mostly about MC and nothing about Lex Cath. Lex Cath had Johnson and another boy in double digits with well balanced scoring overall. They always put a respectable team on the floor and can compete with most teams in the state.

Good point. I believe there are currently 5 seniors in the 9th Region who left Cov Cath to start elsewhere and they should all have really good seasons: Karim - DIxie Brannen - Beechwood Kyle - Boone Spencer - Cooper Deere - Cooper And they wouldve all put up 30+ last night if they were Silver Grove's only scorer ...

You are right - I have not seen Rusch play but I would like to! The numbers he is putting up are amazing. I am sure he is a great player and a fine young man. The whole situation with Macke playing at 3 schools in NKY in 3 years is bothersome. It is likely not the young man's fault but it is still annoying. It looks like he has finally found a place to play and will get the chance to put up some numbers so I guess that is good for him!
